It crash every time

Aside from some quirky controls,the game is a haunting and lonely experience of Wilson , pretty good but short.

Some texturing seams but no big deal, I really wish there was more non-combat 3d exploration well made games like this on the App Store.

Except the stupid actions (swiping to shoot vulture etc.) are terribly set up. Its a crapshoot whether they trigger or not. And is the spider supposed to be possible?!

What an almost great game. And then... Along came a spider. What were the authors thinking. Im fed up with this part and am hitting the D button. What a waste.

Hi! I tried the lite version (didnt get very far) and it seems like a really good game to play! :3 seems odd to randomly have someone buy/review a game in 2013 when it was made in 2011... But please dont give up on this game! Start working on it again because I know a lot of people who like open world games, and this is one of the best ones in the App Store! This can be the start of really good open world games in the App Store because there isnt many, and this is the best one Ive seen so far! (minecraft doesnt really count because it doesnt have much of a story line, but this one does!) :D

I bought this game and returned it a couple days later. Its very difficult to navigate and getting objects, like the key, make it frustrating. This game feels glitchy and the graphics are choppy. The first person POV makes it tedious to use for a "seek and find" kind of game. It has great potential but its not there yet.

Truly amazing iOS game, the story was very twisty and immersive. I loved playing this game the whole time through, well I got a little angry at the forest spider part but needless to say the rest of the game made up for it. The sounds of the atmosphere really makes for a truly immersive experience,either through the hot summer day or the stormy afternoon. This game was truly an amazing addition to my iOS collection. Well worth the buy.

Just fix the controls for the spider fight, I spent 10 mins on than.

Amazing cinematic storyline. Like freely exploring the large world.

Dreamscape is a passable if occasionally chuggy unreal tech demo. As a game, sorry, experience it tries to capture the atmosphere of a myst, perhaps, but has design flaws in a similar number to that 17 year old game. Directionless wandering is likely intentional but bewildering on a mobile platform. Puzzle solving is frustratingly linear (cant pick up that item until you backtrack to a cutscene) and qte action sequences more often than not fail to work at all. Disappointing.

A very rich game experience. A traditional story line, but the beauty of the world and the game play make and very enjoyable experience.

Very nice experience. Much better spending 2 hours here than watching a movie! The spider was hard to defeat but I see now an update about it ..anyway it was quite terrifying to fight him :)

Nice but the spider is definitely impossible to defeat even after the last release. Ive tried a thousand of times but it doesnt work...please, fix it!

Ive downloaded this before for my iPod 4 8GB and it worked perfectly fine. I downloaded it yesterday and it keeps crashing at the beginning cut scene of the game before you even get to play the game. It needs to be fixed.

Short version: this is a fantastic interactive story that is well worth the asking price. Long version: I was skeptical about this game at first, because the graphics are not that good – the Unreal Engine logo appears when you first start the game, but its clear that it doesnt use the Unreal Engine 3 that you might expect. Instead, it must use the original Unreal Engine because the textures are very low resolution and the graphics are just plain overall of a poor quality. Also, this app hasnt been updated in over a year, so it does not take advantage of the retina displays that are available now. And thats all I have to say bad about this app. Everything else about this game is truly fantastic. For example, the atmosphere, sound, and music are very engrossing. But even those aspects of the game pale in comparison to the storyline. One might think that the story is very commonplace or contrived, but the twist near the end of this game took me by surprise. Not to spoil anything, but I actually choked up a bit at the end. Bottom line: For game to so completely engross me in its storyline even while it has subpar graphics, that says a lot. I cannot recommend this game enough to anyone who wants to experience a truly interactive story.
