Except for a few things. One: the spider. Its very hard and its frustrating. Two: storyline. Its a bit cheesy and hard to understand. But its overall a good game.

It would be if it were actually possible.

As reviewer Andyyyyyyy said before me, this is the kind of app that, IMO, makes the App Store really shine (and Im not even one to use my iPad for gaming of any kind!). Eerie setting, somewhat simple but good enough plot to keep me intrigued, nice sounds that arent distracting, interesting gameplay overall. The cons: I think the joystick movement controls are fairly awkward, difficult to get used to. More so, the map doesnt show your current location, and with everything so spaced apart (as far as Ive reached, at least), and one building (the barn) not even on the map, it kind of defies the purpose of its existing in the first place. I tend to rely heavily on maps in games such as these, so I would love to see that improved. My last complaint is that although Ive gone over the walkthrough after having triggered the scene requiring the bug spray (and being told I was silly for looking in the wrong place:P), I cannot pick up the can of spray. Ive looked online and it appears that Im not the only one struggling with this issue. I can proceed no further without this working, which would be a heavy disappointment as Im so fond of my impression of the game so far. After I pass this point, Ill increase my rating a star; if the creators improve the map and/or movement issues, Ill rate it a full five for sure.

This game... Idk it just has a sad atmosphere. It is about a man who is brain dead, dies and live his memories. This game however has amazing graphics and I gave it 2 stars because I can tell that a lot of work was put into this game.

The game has an interesting story to it and is fun at first, but oh my goodness is it confusing. Some locations arent even located on the map, and those that are are still difficult to locate. Walking everywhere and backtracking gets tedious and boring. The swiping events are unresponsive, especially the spider enemy in the woods. Somehow though, wanting to finally get some answers to the story, I ended up close to the end of the game, only to be greeted with an impossible enemy to beat. Not playing anymore until fixed. Maybe then Ill write a good review.

So Im in the airfield, just got done overhearing the conversation about breaking up with Amelia, and the game crashes, now whenever I re-open the game I fall through the map. Completely stuck. Help please. (Otherwise 5 stars)

Way too easy and short. You have 10 or so objectives, they are completely obvious and just involve a lot of walking. There doesnt appear to any way to save the game so if you close it completely or turn your phone off you have to start over again. The Myst games are definitely worth the extra few dollar, will make you think and keep you entertained much longer

This is my favorite game of all time on ios. Could you guys make more dream scapes like Dreamscape 2 and 3. That would be so cool. And maybe make them a little bit longer.

Would rate it a 5 star if better QA testing went into the game. Spider level is impossible to complete on iOS 7. Only 1 in 7 swipes register on this level and you are only given a fraction of a second to complete the action. I wont purchase anything else from this developer and wouldnt recommend anyone else to do so either. Great concept for a game, but without proper QA testing to ensure everything works correctly its worthless.

Gorgeousness of App Love It but it needs an Update for the iPhone 5s, needs to be full Screen for me it Looks HD but we need that full Screen look*, on the other hand the game is very smooth ! !

The story was cheesy enough and I could have ignored it but the controls a so bad, I simply cannot. I got so aggravated, I just followed the walk through from the game site. Certain items cannot be picked up until you know you know you need them. So enjoy the strolls through a static environment at a leisurely walking pace. And when it comes times to kill a bug, or open a chest.... Forget about it. That is when the controls were so bad it made climbing ladders and walking planks enjoyable. I only finished because I knew I was close to the end. And I regret losing that time.

Really fun, its hard to figure out by yourself though, so I recommend going to the Dreamscape walkthrough website (you can find by googling). The story is pretty, good with some surprising twists. It could use some tweaks here and there though. The spider battle is extremely difficult compared to the rest of the game. I could never defeat it, but I was able to go around the path where the spider battles and skip it. This is a bug, but if you get stuck there, just go around and the story will progress as normal (it may attack you on the way back but it doesnt matter by then). The end could have been more gratifying, but it was pretty satisfactory. Overall, I recommend this game.

This game has a console feel to it. The graphics are so appealing to my eyes and the atmosphere is so relaxing I almost felt as if I were being drawn into each scene, which was nice! But the controls are simple awful. I can still feel the tingling in the tips of my fingers from trying to make those unresponsive controls work. The controls prevented me from becoming completely captivated by the game.

I love dream scape. Gave me a open world game. First level is tricky to find key. You should add a bigger city for bastion falls and 3rd person view.

The game has good graphics and an amazing storyline that really gets you hooked to finish it. The only complaints I have are the controls and how short it was. I would still recommend this game to anyone who likes eerie story games that feel like you are part of it.

Great graphics,game is choppy and slow to respond. Not worth the money, so many better games out there.

I loved this game! It is lonely and sad and beautiful and evocative and nostalgic and sweet all at the same time. More than anything though, it is deeply eerie - plot, setting, sounds, voices - they all serve to give you a palpable sense of unease that is delightful and compelling. Big kudos to this one-man-show: apart from a couple of oddly tuned obstacles (yes the spider is eventually doable) it is a very polished work, especially the visuals, the plot and the sound design. It is not a full-on RPG, dungeon crawl, or adventure game and it should not be judged by those standards. It is a work of highly immersive interactive fiction and as such is nearly flawless. Fix the spider, give me a little more of an epilogue and it easily earns five stars. As it stands, it is highly recommended and impressive on many fronts.
