Fantastic interactive story

Short version: this is a fantastic interactive story that is well worth the asking price.

Long version: I was skeptical about this game at first, because the graphics are not that good – the Unreal Engine logo appears when you first start the game, but its clear that it doesnt use the Unreal Engine 3 that you might expect. Instead, it must use the original Unreal Engine because the textures are very low resolution and the graphics are just plain overall of a poor quality. Also, this app hasnt been updated in over a year, so it does not take advantage of the retina displays that are available now. And thats all I have to say bad about this app.

Everything else about this game is truly fantastic. For example, the atmosphere, sound, and music are very engrossing. But even those aspects of the game pale in comparison to the storyline. One might think that the story is very commonplace or contrived, but the twist near the end of this game took me by surprise. Not to spoil anything, but I actually choked up a bit at the end.

Bottom line: For game to so completely engross me in its storyline even while it has subpar graphics, that says a lot. I cannot recommend this game enough to anyone who wants to experience a truly interactive story.
